The Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) is a

Women+Water Global Development Alliance

The Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) is the evaluation and learning partner for a 5-year GDA launched by Gap Inc. and USAID in 2016 with the aim to improve the well-being of women touched by the apparel industry. In this role, I4DI has designed and implemented the GDA learning agenda, built the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning strategy, conducted (and will conduct) three performance evaluations, developed an interactive dashboard for insight reporting, and led ongoing creation of knowledge products.

USAID Monitoring, Evaluation, and Training Services (METS)

The Institute for Development Impact (I4DI), a woman-owned small business, has been awarded a five-year, $2 million Monitoring, Evaluation, and Training Services (METS) contract to provide expertise and capacity building services to USAID’s Resilience and Food Security (RFS) Bureau. This contract will support RFS staff to routinely apply rigorous monitoring, evaluation, and learning to track progress, facilitate performance-based and adaptive management and remain accountable on its commitments.

USAID Tech for Green Cities

In 2019, I4DI was awarded a $3 million, three-year prime contract from USAID Cambodia called Tech for Green Cities (T4GC) to address growing issues waste disposal issue. We are facilitating the emergence of a circular economy by creating an advanced technology platform to connect citizens and entrepreneurs and to report, track, analyze, and measure progress. The goal is to foster behavior change and leverage market forces to solve waste management problems.

MERL Competence Development

World Vision engaged I4DI in over 35 countries in an initiative to develop staff performance management and evaluation competence. In this role, I4DI established organization-wide competency frameworks, conducted online, country specific MERL competence assessments resulting in a comprehensive gap analysis, developed competence development strategies, and built a digital training database to support delivery of technology- enabled training.
